Welcome to the UAF SWE Section Website!

Welcome to the University of Alaska Fairbanks SWE Collegiate Section! We strive to provide our members with opportunities for personal and professional development. The only requirements for membership is an interest in advancing the engineering profession. You do not have to be a woman or an engineer to be a SWE member. If you support women in engineering, you're welcome to join us!

​SWE accomplishes a lot on the section, regional, and societal level:

• ​Our SWE section hosts variety of events and activities to engage our members - guest talks from the industry, technical tours, outreach opportunities, social events, and travel sponsorship to annual and regional conferences.
• The region hosts conferences, trainings, and helps to provide coaching to individual sections.
• The society sets goals for the organizations, provides scholarships, and provides political influence.
